Although extremely curious by nature, it’s not uncommon for wild horses to flee at the first sight of an unknown invader in their territory. However, once they decide the new visitor represents no harm, more often than not they will approach the visitor, remaining a safe distance away at first, and then gradually moving closer as they feel more comfortable. Such was the case with the wild horse depicted in this limited edition photograph as several hundred bison watch the distant hillside.
