0114 Taking Care of Baby
Galapagos Islands,
Ecuador
Blue-footed Boobies, living at sea their entire life, are a pelagic species and need land only for breeding and rearing their offspring. Monogamous most of the time, pairs reunite on their breeding grounds where the female will lay two or three eggs. In spite of this, only one or two chicks commonly hatch.

Edition of 500.
