Nxai Pan National Park, Botswana
The focal point of Nxai Pan is the water hole, situated in the midst of a large grassy plain, dotted here and there with clumps of short, umbrella thorn trees. A variety of species come to drink from time to time - springbok, gemsbok, zebra, giraffe, as well as those animals that prey on them such as cheetah and lions. Elephants, like as the one depicted in the limited edition photograph made at sundown, also come to drink.
