Spring cubs, not at all unlike their human counterparts, are always getting into trouble; and, like human children, each has its own, unique personality. Cubs, during their first year, are called spring cubs. The following year they’re referred too as yearlings. After that, they’re know as two-year-olds, three-years-olds, etc. Offspring typically stay with their mother until they are two-year-olds before being forced to strike out on their own. Nevertheless, three- and four-year-olds are occasionally observed under their mother’s watchful eye.
