Up-Close-&-Personal is the guiding principal behind our choice of photography destinations. We talk about photo opportunities, we describe them in our brochures and on our website, and yet participants continue to be amazed. Words cannot begin to describe the magic that people experience during our photo adventures whether they are in Alaska, Africa, South America, or somewhere in the Lower 48. If you have been with us in the past, then you know what I’m talking about. If not, then it’s time that you join us on one of our upcoming adventures and experience the magic yourself.

The World's Greatest Photo Adventures

Host An All-Day Wildlife Photography Seminar…

Sponsoring an all-day wildlife photography seminar in your area is fairly easy; AND, it’s a great way to earn money for yourself or your organization. I need a minimum of 20 paying guests for a one-day seminar. The seminar organizers will attend without charge.

After you read through this section, if you decide to sponsor a workshop, contact me at  wlee@RockyMountainPhotoAdventures.com
or you can call 303.747.2074

The Process . . .

Decide Time and Location
You and I will decide on a date well enough in advance that people can sign up for the lower "early bird" registration fee. Then you will locate an appropriate location to hold the seminar. The meeting room should have comfortable chairs and tables. It is important to be able to block outside light during the presentation. Finally, we will set a deadline for getting the minimum sign ups.

Promote the Event
It will be up to you to get the minimum number of people by the deadline. I will send out emails to those in my database who live in your area. I will also make a flyer and send it to you to use for promotion. You will make copies and post or distribute them to local camera clubs, camera stores, and photo labs. I am also available to be a guest on local radio shows (via phone) or do an interview with any print media in your area. You can contact them and then if they are interested, direct them to me. If you are internet savvy, you can also publicize the workshop on the internet. Other ideas for promotion: Place listing in local papers and magazines. Arrange for me to do a lecture/book signing at a local bookstore on the evening prior to the seminar.

Registration
People will be directed by the flyer to contact me to register. You will not have to handle that. Once someone has registered and we know the workshop minimum has been met, I will send each participant a follow-up information sheet, indicating directions to the workshop and instructions. Once people have received their confirmation and registration packet, you will be the contact person.

Fees
All-Day Seminar:  $95/person early registration; $115/person within 1 month of seminar (see sample program on the next page). You receive $25 for each paying guest. Fees are nonrefundable unless the seminar is cancelled. Guests can transfer their reservation to someone else or use the fee to purchase goods and services from me.

Final Planning
Once the workshop minimum has been met, we can complete the final details. You will arrange for coffee and tea for the guests. You will provide a place for me to stay while I am there and arrange for transportation to and from the airport.
